ABOUT US
The ADAPT Foundation is dedicated to fostering a healthy, supportive environment where under-resourced local youth, ages 8 through 17, can thrive. We provide impactful youth development programs with a primary focus on overall wellness.

Our core emphasis is on building physical and mental strength and conditioning through a dynamic variety of sports programs. Beyond fitness, we integrate social development through partner and group exercises that instill essential values of teamwork and cooperation.

In collaboration with several discipline-specific partner organizations, we offer kids and teens a diverse range of activities, helping them to fall in love with movement and build a strong foundation for lifelong growth and wellness.
Check out options below. All programs operate year-round and are run by experienced coaches with expertise in youth development.

ADAPT Kids
This fun, energetic fitness program combines skill practice, workouts, and games to build strength and conditioning for youth ages 8-12. The program is designed specifically for the development of proper movement patterns, to build familiarity and muscle memory and prepare young athletes for long, healthy sports and fitness journeys.
Youth Development Program
This program focuses on building power, speed, and athleticism for teens ages 12 to 17. The program works to build a stable foundation of athletic development in young athletes, including correcting imbalances, perfecting technique, and creating usable power specific to their sport(s) of interest.

MINDTAP
MINDTAP helps young athletes unlock their full potential by combining sport psychology, mental performance coaching, and cutting-edge perceptual-cognitive training.
Our programs strengthen mindset, sharpen decision-making under pressure, and enhance overall performance.
Using innovative tools like strobe glasses, hand-eye coordination devices, and reflex training systems, MINDTAP gives athletes the mental edge to train smarter, compete harder, and excel both on and off the field.
Basketball
Our basketball program, through LVD Warriors, empowers young athletes to develop and sharpen their ball handling and dribbling skills, master proper shooting mechanics, and become better teammates and students of the game, all while having fun and working on their strength and conditioning. The program also includes a focus on enhancing mental skills and training visual attention. Finally, the program helps athletes grow into disciplined, confident individuals, building life skills, leadership, and work ethic that extend far beyond the court.

Volleyball
Our youth volleyball program, in collaboration with NMB Volleyball Academy, is designed to build a strong foundation in the sport while fostering a love for the game. We focus on mastering essential fundamentals, such as developing powerful and consistent serves, improving control for accurate ball handling, and building footwork and timing to dominate at the net. Through fun, engaging drills and team-based play, participants not only sharpen their technical skills but also gain invaluable lessons in teamwork, communication, and sportsmanship.
Capoeira
Capoeira is an Afro-Brazilian martial art that incorporates elements of dance, music, and acrobatics. Our capoeira program for kids and teens, with Evolve Miami Team, builds respect, confidence, and self-expression through movement, music, and cultural education, while helping them grow stronger, more focused, and socially connected in a fun, supportive environment. Capoeira techniques - the “ginga,” kicks, and dodges - help students build body awareness and develop balance, flexibility, coordination, and agility. A progressive belt system instills discipline and respect, as well as a sense of achievement.

Jiu Jitsu
The curriculum for this program, in partnership with Atom, includes both beginner and fundamental techniques, as well as coordination drills, interactive games, and exploration of core concepts and ideas in jiu-jitsu. The program goals are to increase understanding and competence with the martial art, learn self-discipline, and build confidence, all while having fun in a welcoming environment.
Dance
Our dance program for kids through age 11, with MPeople Dance Center, includes classes in hip hop, breakdancing, jazz funk, contemporary, and acro, with additional weekly sessions focused on conditioning, as well as stretching and flexibility. Beyond the physical, dance nurtures kids’ creativity and gives them a positive outlet for self-expression. The program also offers after-school tutoring, to ensure that while children are enjoying the benefits of physical activity and artistic expression, they are also excelling in their studies.
